Our commitment
Signature Leisure Ltd is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who use screen readers, screen magnification, speech recognition software or keyboard-only navigation. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have put in place
The site uses semantic HTML with page landmarks, one main heading per page and a logical heading order. There is a 'Skip to main content' link, every control and menu can be operated by keyboard alone, and focus indicators are clearly visible. Text and interface colours are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios, text can be resized to 200% and the layout reflows at 320px width without loss of content. We support reduced-motion preferences, provide meaningful alternative text on informative images, hide decorative graphics from screen readers, and size touch targets for comfortable use on mobile.
Forms and error handling
Every form field has a visible label, required fields are marked both visually and for screen readers, and any errors are listed at the top of the form, linked to the field they relate to and announced to assistive technology. Successful submissions are confirmed on screen and announced. If you would rather not use the form, you can call or email us instead.
Known limitations
The map on our contact page is provided by Google and only loads once you accept functional cookies. Its internal controls are outside our control, so we always show our full postal address as text and provide a link to open the location directly in Google Maps.
Requesting information in another format
If you find any part of this website difficult to use, or you need information from it in a different format such as large print, plain text by email, or read to you over the phone, please contact us and we will help. Telephone 01924 422156, email irfan@signatureleisureltd.com, or write to Signature Leisure Ltd, Thomas Street, Batley, West Yorkshire, WF17 8PR.
Feedback and complaints
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website and aim to respond promptly during working hours. If you are not satisfied with our response, please contact us again and ask for your feedback to be escalated to a director.
How we test
This website is tested using automated accessibility scanning, keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader checks, and contrast and zoom testing at both desktop and mobile screen sizes. Testing is repeated whenever we make significant changes to the site.
